I am an instructor for Ceramics, Art Appreciation, Three-dimensional Design and Sculpture. My experience teaching at the university level, as well as teaching in the private studio setting and in the workshop capacity, has proven to be a valuable asset for my students.
Teaching art calls for a great deal of organization, an understanding of the historical significance it has on the world, as well as knowledge of many different mediums and methods. Seeing my students excel through the fine art that they have created is deeply satisfying. Traditional and contemporary art practices are imperative for a student to understand and apply to their growing accomplishments. With a deeper connection to expression, students are given the opportunity to experience creative thinking and problem solving first hand and apply it in all their future endeavors.
Please feel free to look through examples of my students work in, hand built, wheel, three dimensional design and art appreciation below.
