We began building an anagama kiln at our home in Catskill, NY!

The final step to build the Firefly kiln was to complete the chimney. On August 29-30 we set the last bricks and Rob Boryk welded the framework. The first firing is scheduled for mid October 2026.

Building a kiln is a huge financial undertaking. We will still need to purchase kiln shelves, and pyrometers.
